Slated to be comparable to Fort Worth’s Bass Performance Hall and Lubbock’s new Buddy Holly Center, some Frisco residents want the city to expand seat capacity to attract Broadway productions.

City leaders and school officials announced this summer that Frisco would finally get a large-scale performing arts center after nearly a decade of discussion.
The venue will serve as a multi-use space for Frisco ISD’s gallery events, art exhibits, performances and professional development for approximately half of the year, according to district officials. When not in use for district events, the facility will be available to host events for the business and nonprofit communities, as well as other performances.
